The Telephone call :

Whatever's the matter, you don't look well? I think i'd give the doctor a bell, come and sit by the fire while i get through,it may take some time, I'm now in a queue. I'm listening to music, then a voice on the line, breaks in to tell me I've moved up to nine, back to the music, it's enough to frustrate, that i'm informed i've moved up to eight. Their was a time not so long ago, when you dialled a number and someone said hello! Now they say sorry for the delay, we have a volume of high calls today, i'll think i'd park this call on hands free, then i'll be able to make some tea. With water now boiled, tea ready to pour, the time has been taken, i'm now up to four. It may have been quicker to send him a text, but wait just a minute, a voice says, you're next. I'm now given options, one, two or three or to speak to a doctor, press the star key. It's the doctor, i'm wanting, so the stars key's my choice, and finally a real human voice, Hello, doctor here, how may i help you today? well i don't think you can doc, he's just passed away....
