The world was still "normal" for the entire decade. All this lockdown madness and societal disruption started in early 2020.

The 2012 London Olympics. I didn't get any sleep those 2 weeks and Ray Davies put on an amazing performance of Waterloo Sunset in the closing ceremonies.
