Cool Pictures. I would say my favourite picture would be your picture of the Viking Long boat.
Apparently my ancestry on my mums side goes back to Norway, eventually.
Also, Norse men from Normandy, on the other side, who invaded England and Ireland.
Thanks, mbnm.

I have to say, that’s my favourite photo as well. It was really something that stood out about the trip. I had taught 7-8 yr olds about Viking history when I first moved to England from Aus, and we made a model of a Viking Ship.
More recently, I loved watching the entire series of The Vikings. When I visited Iceland two years ago, I saw where they filmed parts of it with landscape so alien, yet beautiful.
In the time I’ve come to know Norwegians, I’ve learned they are undoubtedly some of the coolest people on the planet! They virtually never complain, they work to live rather than live to work ... family and mental health comes first always. They just love nature and appreciate peace. They generally are fiercely loyal, friendship-wise. They are incredibly accepting and tolerant of different lifestyles, very laid back. Their sense of humour is dry and infectious. I would be proud to have Norwegian ancestry.
