For fellow WP pokemon fans, they announced two new games earlier today:

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be faithful remakes of the original DS games coming later this year for the Switch.

Pokemon Legends Arceus is set in the ancient past of Sinnoh, and will be an open world RPG.

There was also more details/footage of New Pokemon Snap coming in April!

Edit: but to give my thoughts, I'm not hyperfixated on Pokemon right now so I'm not super hyped. It's very cool that they've done something the fandom have wanted for years and years though. I'll be keeping a look out.
Legends: Arceus sounds very cool too! Arceus lore, open world Pokemon, making THE very first in-universe Sinnoh Pokedex... Definitely something to keep an eye on!
PS: what's your favourite Pokemon? Mine is Absol.

My favourite starter is probably Rowlet. Favourite legendary is a tie between Giratina, Necrozma and Zacian/Zamazenta. Favourite mythical is Shaymin.

My favourite starter is Cyndaquil.
I am not really big into using legendries, I often think using them as being a bit easy mode.
But I as a member of a trio I like Suicune, probably for its part in Crystal version.
Mythical Pokemon, looking up I think that I like Darkrai, but I kind of wish that I knew more about Keldeo and Meloetta.
I am curious over the recent Spectrier, I probably need to play through the expansion pass to get it rather than hold it off expecting to be disappointed.

Favourite in general, I do like Meowstic.

For the new games, the Legends game showed Cyndaquil as a possible starter, which makes me happy because I don't think it gets a lot of love. Looks a lot like Breath of the Wild, which makes me wonder if it could live up to that hype.

And the Diamond and Pearl Remakes looked a little cute with their art style. Let's go Eevee sold itself a lot to me on how cute it was.

Oh yes I forgot about Spectrier! It has an AMAZING design in my opinion. I still need to look up the story of Calyrex and Glastrier/Spectrier...

I'm very excited about the new Sinnoh games. Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl look good, if a little 'safe' in terms of not deviating from the original.

I've been dying to get another side game rpg a la Colosseum for years so I'm quite hyped for Legends. I've wanted a pre-modern pokemon game ever since gen 2 came out and we started to get some background on that world's history. Give me aprikorns!
The choices of starters were interesting, though I'm not sure if I would have chosen the same three. I'll probably go with Cyndaquil or Oshawott
