Has anyone ever read "Girl Online"?

Lately I've been listening to an audiobook on YouTube, called Girl Online by Zoe Sugg.
Quote:
Penny Porter is a 15-year-old girl living in Brighton, with her best friend Elliot and a picture-perfect family. She has an outgrown friend Megan, her long-lasting crush Ollie and a secret-she suffers from anxiety. She leads a mundane life and is not happy with herself. When an incident at school triggers her badly, her family whisks her away to New York, where her mom is planning a wedding. There she meets Noah, the wedding caterer's grandson. The two hit it off instantly and fall in love in the days that follow. After the wedding Penny leaves New York. She returns to Brighton a confident bright girl who realizes her worth and a cute American boyfriend. The next that follows is a twist and that forms the ending.
I thought I'd discuss it here, because the main character, Penny, is just like me (except not as old as me). But she is sensitive, shy, lacks confidence, suffers anxiety and frequent panic attacks, is socially awkward but not socially inept, and is full of emotion and impulse. It is written in first person and it sometimes feels like the writer is describing me. I can relate to this fictional girl so much it's unbelievable.
It is not pointed out that she has a spectrum disorder and I very much doubt the character has a spectrum disorder but it is stated that she suffers from PTSD from a recent car accident. But that's beside the point, I can still relate to her in so many ways. She takes things personally like I do, and she always has an impulsive urge to pour out her feelings online on her blog, just like I do on WP.
Has anyone here read this book, and if so do you find you relate to her? (Probably easier to answer this if you're a young female with Asperger's).
