That can be part of it, rather, I am referring to people who are excited to see us and enjoy spending time with us when we are around. However, we are not at the top of their list because we are on outer circle of friends based on proximity levels.
However, there are circumstances where those people like us and would love to include us in events but have other close friends who don't feel comfortable having us in the group because they don't understand us or like us. Meanwhile, those people are too afraid to set boundaries with their other friends because they are afraid of losing their close friends. Therefore, being left out is an option.
