I mostly got money which is what I wanted/needed since I owe my girlfriend a bit & I have various supplements & meds I need to buy. Plus there's some technology things I kinda need like a new desktop computer or upgrading the ram in my current one & maybe the processor as well to hold me over. I'm still using Windows 7 & my computer is sluggish & freezes sometimes. I could also use a new graphing calculator. I'm still using the calc I had since high-school & I graduated in 2001. There was a row on the screen that quit displaying a while back but then it started displaying again

~My parents sent me a check for $250. Cass got one from them for $150.
~Cass's mom gave me $50 cash.
~One of Cass's bothers gave me $20 in cash.
~Her other brother gave me & her a couple butterfly knives he was thinking about possibly giving someone else. I have a fairly big knife/blade collection & I kinda got Cass into it as well. Both knives are the same except one is white which Cass prefers & the other is black which I prefer.

I didn't really buy any presents for myself except a knife I stumbled across onto Ebay for $12 something after tax that I posted a couple pix of in this thread(post office might deliver it today) viewtopic.php?t=240606&start=48 There's some various knives/blades I really want but they are kinda expensive & I'm trying to be careful with my money. I really need to start looking for a job.

electric food steamer, and a nohkan... also got a gift card, but find waiting for deliveries stressful, so might pre-order a digital copy of tiny tina’s wonderlands on ps4.

Not the best Christmas over here. Not to be depressing, just my reality.

Sending hugs. I hope things get better for you in the new year.

No, though two fossil-related things! Superb book about prehistoric mammals.

I'd say my faves are a small box w/ 4 polished stones in it a friend selected from his collection and gifted me with good vibe intentions And a hand carved silver "bear clan," dog tag on a silver necklace that my sister and brother in law had his brother make for me so that ~all of the guys in the family have bear clan necklaces to go w/ the one their little guy has. (His dad's family lineage = bear clan.)

Thank you kindly. I could probably do with a hug from another human, but I burnt those bridges; that's the one issue when you're a hypervigilant loner. As do I, but likely not.

Thank you again.

That sounds very rough. I also hope things improve for you. Me & my girlfriend have had a bit of deaths of family members & pets around the holiday season over the last like 9 years. I guess it's lucky I wasn't very close to any of the people & wasn't majorly affected but Cass sure was since she's more empathic. Thankfully this season is OK except we did take our chinchilla to the vet yesterday. He needs to have his teeth ground down some which is gonna happen later this morning. He's had teeth problems for a couple years now. Good thing my parents gave me & Cass checks for Christmas. I should go to bed soon & get a couple hourd of sleep.
