Will Traditional medicine systems such as CTM (Chinese traditional medicine) or Ayurveda (Indian Traditional Medicine) ever be evaluated using western standards, or is it hopelessly complex or many systems masquerading as one.

I'm no expert, but a quick search on 'google scholar' revealed a myriad of peer reviewed papers published on the topic.

i like Ayuervedic medicine... and believe it to be quite different than Chinese medicine .
