Classic ADHD moment
I was due an important phonecall from the vet and they said they'll call between 5pm and 7pm yesterday evening. It was my birthday yesterday so I had a busy day but I remembered the phonecall so I made sure I was home in time. I had a few missed calls from elderly relatives to wish me a happy birthday, and without thinking I called them back yesterday evening. And, of course, the vet rang while I was already on the phone, and when I tried calling them back I couldn't get through. So today I sent the vet an email and hoped they'll get back to me as soon as possible.
Why didn't I wait until the vet had called before calling my relatives? I didn't seem to think at the time. Has anyone else done a stupid mistake like this?
