I've been using methylphenidate for years and years and I take it at the same time every day.

Sometimes if I take it at a different time or too soon before or after food it had a different affect on me. Not an unpleasant affect but just different, as if it's not working as it should.

I use equasym slow release.

It's not really an issue as such but I just wondered if this is a common occurrence.

I Only have experience with antidepressants but....I noticed that missing one day had quite an effect. Similar to what you say.

I'm OK now but I took it a bit later today and it made me agitated. Like the opposite of how it normally works.

Did you try other things for ADHD? There are plenty now, try neurofeedback
