I'm not all that PC either.

Being PC is unusual. Not being PC in commonplace.

But be that as it may...CR is....a rather singular individual. As anyone who spent much time on this can testify.

I meant on WP, as most people here are PC.

I think most people including those on WP are superficially PC in order to avoid offending some people or to avoid confrontation. However, in reality, whether WP members or not, most people are not PC in their privacy. Even I, who am against racism, do complain about people of certain ethnicities behaving in certain ways. I only speak my mind to the people that I trust. All people are racist, sexist, ageist, discriminatory, etc in their own privacy.

Some people assume I'm racist, sexist, ageist, discriminatory & things like that when I'm not or at least not majorly. I'm misanthropic & have a low opinion of people & society in general. I'm not really racist if I dislike all races. I'm not majorly sexist if I tend to dislike both sexes. I'm not really ageist when I tend dislike people of any age, etc etc. I do NOT conform to any of those things. I read the news & hear about problems all over the world because people want to fight & kill each other instead of trying to get along & work together to solve their problems & I just majorly hope humanity destroys itself before we develop enough technology to leave here & destroy other planets & kill other sentient life forms That said I can really like & majorly love individuals who think for themselves instead of mindlessly following the group or authority or whatever. Speaking my mind about this contributes to me not fitting in.

I saw an example of your miscommunication and how others reacted to it in the "Post a pic" thread. I see these as teething issues which you will overcome.

WHOA, this discussion-thread piqued my interest - esp. considering my participation here on WP lately!

The following poll categories might apply - 'positive-leaning neutral', 'negative leaning neutral', or just plain 'neutral' - The overall sentiment I personally sense here on WP.

It is possible to not be PC whilst still having consideration for other people. I think CR strikes this balance very well.

What do the initials 'PC' and 'CR' mean?

^ PC means politically correct/political correctness and CR is the WP member CockneyRebel.

Bumping-up this four-month old discussion thread.

I'm somewhat confused about this thread. It seems the original poster (OP) in this thread was conducting a WP poll on how other WP members feel about the OP.

I had voted what can be desribed as 'neutral' in the poll. It's difficult to judge any given WP member.

Are there similar discusison threads inviting WP members to express how they feel about their presence here on WP?
