Encountering high numbers of Redditors on the spectrum

When browsing Reddit and I see a poster who interests me, very often when I investigate their history I find posts in which they reveal they are on the spectrum. Male or female.

I can't imagine the percentage of Redditors who are on the spectrum to be that high, so perhaps there's some sort of affinity?

I'd imagine Redditors are genuinely more likely to be autistic than the general population. There is a subreddit for almost any special interest you care to think of.
