WHAT was that line in the movie "officer and a Gentleman" i think ?
Jack Nicholsons character said , " You cant't Handle the Truth". one wondens if this is the motto for having discussions with NT s.....? :nerdy: :(

If someone knew the truth about you and they would no longer want to be your friend, maybe even hate you, why wouldn't you want them to know the truth? You're living a lie.

What if the lie makes you happier, and then happier? Irrelevant. Happiness is not the purpose. If the truth would crush you, be crushed.

Truth is the fire in which the world deserves to burn. Then only those strong enough to face the truth will remain, to live only in truth, in a world free of lies.

And so this maybe one of the saddest casualties of our time ! " The Truth" , a fact USA economy is based on a Wartime economy . ! And if in fact , as I have seen over and over, " The first casualty of War is often known to be the ( THE TRUTH) . What are we left with ? . <and possibly, why so many reporters can end up in the grave> :skull:
Even currently we are in a World War , by Proxy in Ukraine . so are all the different countries supporting either side of this Undeclared World War ..Which , i think maybe outgrowing the monetary costs of last few real life World Wars.
But the 2/3rds of our economy that supports the Industrial Military budget, must be jumping for joy .
