What are the downsides of that, for an aspie guy, unseen effects or harms

For one thing, the feeling of a need for connection is subject to alexithymia just like any other emotion. You may feel like that now, but even many hardcore schizoids will eventually fall into extreme feelings of loneliness.

I don't personally like it, but whether you feel a need for connection or not, a lack of connection is likely to cause health problems in the long term.
