What do use to clean devices? Is rubbing alcohol good for devices & remote controls?

Yes, but used only sparingly, on a cloth or cotton bud, or something similar.

I use a toothbrush and Lysol on my remotes than wipe dry.

I use baby wipes to clean everything. Even though my daughter is 17, we never stopped buying baby wipes, they will clean up anything.

I killed a laptop once with a wet wipe.

I didn't even touch the keys, to the best of my knowledge, but somehow the moisture made its way to the motherboard and sang Hasta La Vista, baby.

I do microfibre cloths with a bit of cleanser spray or vinegar. Just barely enough to make it damp.

Oh for keyboards I've got a kind of cleaning putty, like this:

https://nerdtechy.com/best-keyboard-cleaning-gel

It's really good, it gets into all the nooks and crannies of the keys and pulls out all the dust and crumbs. And quite fun to use!

I have a clear cover for the keyboard too, like this. It stops crumbs and water going in the keyboard:

That putty looks really satisfying!

It reminds me of a toy I used to have called Slime:

Yes that putty is brilliant, it is like the slime but it's more cohesive and sticks together so it doesn't get lost in the keyboard
