I was always curious is that a NT trait or a individual trait? for example I love animals but I couldn't handle 2 or 3 dogs, or 3 kids all at the same time, along with a high stress job, is it sensory overload?

More responsibilities do you mean?

Being able to take on more responsibilities is usually the domain of functional folk & a lot of non-NT folk are less functional than NT folk.

So that wouldn't be surprising, now, would it?

I consider myself highly functional and responsible as well as intelligent, just also seem to get upset, emotional and or overloaded right away, and need time to relax. I have one dog who I love spending time with but he is enough right now, don't have the energy for a full time job, relationships and or commitments, I am 37 years of age yet I almost live as if I am in my 60's or 70's. I am very hard on myself because I see mostly all the NT's taking on the world, yet I don't really have the drive or emotions to take it all on

There's nothing bad about having older behavioural patterns, nor not having the drive nor emotions to take on all the things other people take on, particularly NT's.

The less you compare yourself to NT's, the happier you will be, if you manage it.

Its their more competitive nature to try to elevate their status in the hierarchy. We don't feel that as strongly so have no reason to get more than our means. I don't understand people who want to live in a big house and drive expensive cars. If I was given millions tomorrow I would just but a cottage and live a similar life as I am now due to not caring about boosting my status. When I play videogames I do it to my leisure as I feel NT People try to dominate leaderboards. I like to play single player games as they like to player multiplayer. I think this aspect of wanting more comes from their need for social validation rather than the material thing itself. That's my view on it.

It may have a lot to do with the NT's apparent lack of sensory overload.  1 puppy or 1 child?  I can handle it just fine.  A pack of yapping, snapping pups and/or a group of whining, shouting kids?  Time to hide from them and the world.

A stronger drive for social validation is surely one aspect of an NT's mindset, versus Autistic folk. Particularly for extroverted NT's.

I did work full time for ages, along with having four kids. It did burn me out. I crashed hard. I do not recommend it. I have no idea how people do it without constantly being stressed and at the end of the metaphorical rope. I couldn't do it now if I tried. I never did recover from that last big burnout.

The full-time job thing was usually the most stressful part of my life.

I fathered one child but flatly refused to father any more. I knew that double the trouble would be a step too far.

I've never been one for new cars or other forms of wasting money.

A full-time job for a lot of Autistic folk is a thing that is unsustainable. Particularly due to sensory overload.

It is good that you don't waste your money.

In my last job, I began to suspect I had ASD, and I could see how I was getting sucked into aspie-unfriendly work. Getting diagnosed and getting adjustments from the employer was a much-needed step. Choosing science was a hepful accident. I heard later that Aspies often do better in science jobs.

Indeed. I barely managed for years without knowing about why I was so tired and useless when I got home. Wrong job and insufficient self care.

I do think that NTs have some added leeway when it comes to such things, do showing off if a more possible option.

Self care is important. I am glad you have realised this. :)

I knew it was important, I just had no idea why I seemed to have different needs from everybody else around me. Just learning about stimming has made such a difference.

Yeah, stimming is an important thing to manage also.
