I have got better through long painful years of experience. Still I get it wrong frequently. I am a "work in progress" even at my old age.

This is one trait that I don't have. Comedy is one of my special interests. I love some witty, playful sarcasm. This may be the reason I'm watching through "Frasier" for the umpteenth time.

Actually, I'm usually uncomfortable if I'm in a situation where it's not appropriate to make jokes. I often don't know what to say.

I am the same. Apparently I have a male sense of humour. And I love Frasier!

Have you watched Father Ted? Now that's a comedy!

BTW are you sure you aren't British? We live on sarcasm, I don't think autistic British people have much problem with it.

Last time I checked! :D

My mother's great-grandparents came to America from Italy. My father's family came from Canada, but he doesn't know where they came from before that, so it's possible I may have some British ancestry in there somewhere that expresses itself in sarcasm.

For some reason, I haven't seen much British television. But I have enjoyed British humor in books, movies, plays, etc.

You must find Father Ted online somewhere. It's basically Irish people making fun of themselves. It's about 3 misfit priests who live on a small island and the comical adventures they have. That sounds very niche but it is hilarious!
