I was wondering with our Neurology is it normal to feel that way? I have my aunt staying with us for about 3 months now, and I feel very ''crowded'' no ''privacy'' or ''solitude'', I just want to be with my dog often. I feel that often being in this environment or being social for to long, messes up ''my schedule'' are we often focused on what we are doing? my family seems to get a ''high'' and feel so much better from socializing and being up each others a** ever second, while I feel stressed and drained irritated.

I think this is normal, even for non-autistic introverts, and probably even more so for introverted autistic folk.

Introverted folk need time to socially recharge, so not being able to do so might give the feeling of social suffocation, as you describe.

Yes, this happens to me. I can visit with people 1 to 1 or even 2 to 1, but more than that and I get overwhelmed. I need to rest after socializing. And if someone is in my space, my house, I find that even more difficult to bear.
