I'd have to go along with neither. As mentioned, the blue pill is status quo. I already have that - no pill needed.

Perhaps the point of the blue pill is to forget being asked the question at all, because once you've been told hey, reality isn't what it seems you can never go back to before that idea was put in your head/reaffirmed by someone else.

Since the question inherently alters your status quo, the only way to return to it is by forgetting the question/interaction entirely.

In awful CB radio talk, power amplifier transistors are called "pills" because the tops are white and flat.

In the more dignified world of ham radio, we just call them power amplifier transistors.
