I've been rewatching old nicktoons in order of broadcast.

I've finished the original Doug, three seasons of the original Rugrats, two seasons of Ren & Stimpy, two seasons of Rocko's Modern Life, and season one of Aaahh!! ! Real Monsters.

First season after Justin Roiland was fire. How did they handle that? His voice just changed to British, but with the same snappish rude craziness. "Deal with it." I think that is what Kovo, the character who was voiced by Justin Roiland, says.

First season after Justin Roiland was fire. How did they handle that? They found actors that sound like Rick and the Morty. Are they spot on like a fingerprint? No, but they are very good and I quickly forgot.

I'm on Season 20 of the Simpsons now. Clearly nowhere near as good as the first few seasons but still a classic series.

As someone who's seen all of the Simpsons for some reason, I can tell you it still has tremendous value even as quality declined, and watching the show in retrospect is a good way to understand media trends and how changing studios can really have an impact.
