I feel so sorry for the poor guy! If someone knows his address, can we send him some cans of beans for Christmas to make him feel happy?

Advert is about this guy who packs tins of his favourite beans while going on holiday, and his case does not turn up at the airport when he gets there, so he spends every day of his holiday crying as he has lost his beans.

Who wouldn't want some baked beans on christmas, that sounds wonderful....some warm beans to eat by the spoon or dip chips or bread into. sign me up lol. So yeah if you don't like your baked beans just send them to me I'll eat them, maybe but as I undertand it takes a few days for english mail to cross the ocean over to the states, so on second thoughts don't actually send your baked beans to me but I will eat baked beans myself and just think of you.

Baked beans with tomato sauce are great. Who can argue with that? :o

I'll argue with it. Baked beans make me want to vomit. :eew:

I am not familiar with the advert in question, but anyone who is prepared to pay £1.40 for a tin of Heinz Beans when a perfectly good equivalent is available at Aldi or Lidl for around £0.45 clearly needs to have their head examined.

Baked beans are about the only bean that doesn't make me vomit. Not "want" to vomit, but cause me to vomit. I've had that reaction since before first grade. In first grade, the school I went to made me eat the navy beans served for lunch. I told her I couldn't. I'd get sick. She said I was being ungrateful, it was all in my mind. I asked her to call my mom. She wouldn't. She made me eat them, and I spewed beans and everything else I ate. Then she got upset because I got sick. I still get sick to this day when I eat some kinds of beans, except for baked beans.

I have not seen the commercial, but I do not live in the UK. I'm crashing the discussion party. Sorry. Don't make me eat navy beans!

I would be very livid if I got a can of baked beans for Christmas. I'm one of those types who can't eat beans.
