Oh, this plant you posted, CockneyRebel, is one that grows in my country - only in the Tatra mountains area We call it "szarotka" because "szary" means "grey" here and this is the color of this flower

It’s too hard to pick a favorite.
What’s in bloom right now, Daffodils.
I have over thirty varieties.
After those pass it will be whatever is next in line.Lilacs, old fashioned roses, day lilies, and others.
I want to try those petunias posted above.
I have the old fashioned balcony petunias that have a wonderful fragrance in the evening.I save the seeds.
Right now I have two small gardenias that are potted up and in the window.They have flowers buds and fingers crossed they bloom.Not hardy outside here and love the fragrance.

I love zinnias for their colors:



And lily of the valley for their incredible scent, and also they are so tiny they seem like flowers for woodland fairies.

Yeah I'm liking the purple.

Here in Calif. more and more wildflowers are blooming after ample Winter rains. It's uncommon (and hence worth a photograph) to find the orange California Poppies blooming with purple, yellow, and white flowers blooming within a ten square-foot land area.

Spider Lilies are another beautiful yet peculiar flower that made their way to the US from Japan many years ago. We also call these "Hurricane Lilies" because they only bloom flowers around hurricane season, and the rest of the year they die down only to sprout flowers and then leaves again next year.

In Japan they're also linked to death and the Underworld. In case you guys didnt know my avatar is a picture of this flower from my yard that I edited to match my username.
