How common are migraines and otherwise very bad headaches in Autism? I get them occasionally. They seem to precipitate whenever I watch television at night. And once I get the headache, which has a relatively rapid onset along with anosognosia, even when I cease watching it still persists. I even get nauseous a LOT of the time during these.
Sometimes I take painkillers, but they just end up making my nausea way worse; or even make my headaches substantially worse. For this reason, I tend to stay away from watching television at night. It's rather odd, actually. Odd that I have such a selective problem. But I usually don't have this problem while looking at my computer screen, which is even more strange. And sometimes I get headaches after taking my evening medication, but perhaps it is just a correlation. It's a very odd thing for me.
