I came in here to post this one too. I first saw it when I started researching sleep paralysis because some people think that is what is being depicted here.

Other than that I realise I don't know many classic paintings.

Yeah I also think that this painting depicts a kind of incubus. Like the female succubus they were medieval demons blamed for invading dreams at night and causing night terrors and arousal in their victims as they slept.

I prefer Impressionism over Classicism.

It's funny but I have zero interest in paintings of people.
People aren't really a subject I care to see, and I don't understand their expressions anyway.

I know it's technically great artwork but it's never done a thing for me.
I prefer landscapes with motion.

To each their own I suppose.

Most of the paintings and artworks I like relate to mythology in some way.

That makes sense. You love mythology and I love nature / weather.
