Just suffered a stress fracture in my left foot. Probably started a couple of weeks ago and just got worse from there. It is in the 4th Metatarsal. Doesn't hurt as long as I don't put any pressure on the front part of my foot. Using crutches and a walking boot-kind of alternate between the 2. Getting pretty good using crutches!

Anyone else have one of these? How long did it take to heal?

I broke my first metatarsal (ball of my foot) by falling down the stairs after my stroke. About six weeks later I was starting to walk without the boot and I dropped something heavy on it, breaking it again. All tolled it took about three months to heal.

Ouch! Too bad you had to have a double injury there. I am aiming for the 4th of July for being walking normally again.
