Im in a pretty bad situation lately. Both mentally and other stuff. Im in a place where i dont belong to, having a crappy life i dont deserve. So i have anxiety all the time, overthinking about this. Even if I stay in a calm and quiet place, i always worry about my life. So i cant function. Cant be in the moment and do anything because of worrying. How can I put my focus in work or something meaningful, instead of constantly thinking about future? I dont wanna take medications because they affect me badly, tried before. So im asking for some advice in my 300th post here.

Find a relaxing hobby.

I used to pull dandelions out of my yard.

I really enjoy creating things. It’s very relaxing for me. You could pick up a craft of some sort?

Are medications totally off the table? Has a variety of different kinds of meds been tried?

finding comforting things and putting them in your life can help, exercise can help, learning all you can about anxiety and its causes might help, too. I finally figured out I had PTSD and CPTSD, and that my main emotional mode all my life had been fear. Learn all you can about trauma and the way that can affect you . You might consider getting a therapist who could teach you new ways to cope, help you find ways to adapt your life and make adjustments for daily living to remove some of the stress and distress and help you feel safer. Anxiety has been my biggest struggle all these years but improving over time now I am finding new ways to live my life and leaving a lot of the really distressing things behind, exchanged for "something else" one at a time over time.
