Hi everyone.
Joined here recently. Being a 27 year old autistic guy, I have been crossdressing for the last couple of years.
Some of my favourite clothing are boots (have a pair of brown slouchy casual knee high boots which I ♥️), black leather jackets, skinny jeans. Been out a few times dressed and it's the most exhilarating feeling I've ever felt. Have even managed to fit in both female gestures and female postures, which is easier to do when crossdressed I find. Thankfully I haven't had any bad experiences while crossdressed. The women serving me at cafes and clothing stores are more than happy to treat like one of the girls.
I feel like when I crossdress, a totally different side to me emerges. Is this normal? Especially for someone who has autism.

I figured out that I'm more transgender than autistic!
I am much more outgoing presenting female as communicating is so much easier!

I'm 5' 2" 106 lbs with an obscenely thin waist for my age.
I wear high heels or shoes with flower patterns.
I like summer because I can wear skirts and crop tops!

That being said, from what I understand, that freedom of expression is one of the big reasons why people cross dress. There are other reasons like being non-binary or trans, but any sort of disguise has historically been used to free one's inhibitions.

Personally, it's not my thing, I put on a dress once, got catcalled and decided that I'm personally just a manly man of the sort that used to be common a century ago before things like F-ed. But, some folks are into drag and the like and that's cool too.

There are feminine gestures and postures?

Maybe I missed that memo. 8O

I dated two crossdressers but I never noticed if they were copying my gestures.

Enjoy!

Thanks. I guess it just comes naturally to me when I'm in that persona.

i used to be thin enough and curvy enough to pass if not for always being too hairy and too tall, with too-big feet.
