i've been considering doing art as a job. i've been drawing for a long time now and i've been studying graphic design. hopefully i could get a job & live a sustainable life with that skill set as well as doing commissions on the side. if anyone here has a job involving the arts, any advice?

I knew someone who did that. He started out as an apprentice while he was still going to high school, learning from and older lady who had been on the job for many years. He quickly acquired AutoCAD skills and they worked together for a few decades before she retire.
