three bullet thoughts:

1.what does it mean to meditate on the concept of 0 and one?

2. what can you learn by thinking about these two numbers in terms of what they potentially mean conceptually?

3. Can anyone provide a list of 10 or more potential thoughts they have when they think about these numbers?

4. love from Cambridge MA

The point of exercises like that is usually to break out of your normal way of thinking, it's a pretty old method. Basically, you meditate on the concept and pretty much only the concept until the brain gives up on trying to undrstand. Usually, you'll then move on to the next koan in the list. I personally liked The Zen Experience by Thomas Hoover as he did a pretty good job of explaining the historical context of this type of practice. It's really an ADHD way of approaching the world in a lot of ways.

I read meditate as mediate and now I'm imagining a 0 and a 1 in counselling.

Tune in next time to the real lives of numbers where we'll find out in a shocking discovery why the others are afraid of number 7. Meanwhile, 0 and 1 are having a dispute that is anything but binary.

5. Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics: "If two systems are in thermal equilibrium with a third system, then they are in thermal equilibrium with each other."

6. First Principles: "Basic propositions or assumptions that cannot be deduced from any other proposition or assumption."

It's a history of Zen starting with Indian Buddhism. Along the way it talks a bit about the basis for the study of koans, which is often what these sorts of meditations are ultimately about.

The numbers Pi and E have been in couples counseling for years. Both accuse the other of "being irrational".

if you reach yourself, one person, then you could affect the world for the good, potentially, even if in a small way.

but this is obvious. but obvious doesn't mean stupid. and stupid doesn't mean irrelevant.
