I thought this was going to be about pathological demand avoidance and my first thought was, "nope, I would not date anyone with that condition or even suspected."

I like casually holding hands and even kissing on the lips in public, but not prolonged kissing. I think it's sweet and honestly I'm not really thinking about other people when I'm having a moment with my partner. We are both in our 60s though so I sometimes wonder if people think it looks... unexpected? :)

"Prolonged kissing"?

You mean passionate kissing or making out?

My girlfriend likely has that. It's def a problem sometimes but I have my own various issues & I actually find her easier to deal with than lots of other people. Maybe I'm used to more normal type people without issues thinking negatively of me & not being able to measure up to their standards.

Kissing for a long time, rather than just little pecks.

Palm Pilots were my favourite. I still have my Palm Zire 71. I really wanted a Palm Treo but I couldn't afford it.

I had a friend in high school who insisted that Pocket PC was the superior PDA. We had such debates about Palm Pilot vs Pocket PC.

My personal opinion is displaying PDA that is kinky, or inherently sexual (groping, nudity, passionate kissing and making out that lasts more than a couple seconds, intercourse, etc.) in public areas is not okay. The only exception I can see is adults consenting to be an area specifically designated for PDA (sex party/event, maybe a nude beach, etc.).

Random by-passers and families did not consent to see a creepy couple doing anything more than a hug, smooch, or hand hold. ʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ

Dad brought me a Palm Pilot from work once some 25 years back, to write a portable serial data logger program. Kinda miss those quirky things.

So it's more depressing if the couple is old enough to remember what a Palm Pilot is?

i would say its mainly couples in their teens and 20s, especially couples in the 18-25 age range, because not everyone gets to be in love very young, very early in the prime of their lives.

I certainly appreciate seeing small amounts of it, as it can be nice to see people having a nice moment. But I suppose I'd be uncomfortable if it was bascially sex with clothes on that I saw. But in general I think it is nice to see people showing affection to a person they love.

That said I did see a couple doves one time being very affectionate to each other and I am not so sure they were keeping it PG.
