There are probably millions of dangers. For example, let's say you make a cringy video of yourself. Maybe you didn't intend to put it online for everyone in the world to see, but somebody else did. And then you become a lolcow. A lolcow is someone who posts cringy videos that viewers make fun of. They get "milked for laughs". Then they get tons of abuse both on and offline by trolls and cyberbullies. Many if not most lolcows are autistic or have some kind of disability or mental illness. Many of them do things that are really nasty or gross, like never washing or brushing their teeth and abusing their pets. But others might do something that's embarrassing but harmless, like singing a song really badly. Kiwi Farms loves to cyberbully autistic people and some have even committed suicide because of them.
Humans are scum, and social media is as antisocial as you can get.

Not paying local wage tax.
This took place over 30 years ago, when I worked for Naval Research and Develpment Research, Development, Testing and Engineering Division Detachment Warminster, PA., as a contractor employee. The owner of the contract, despite knowing 2 of his employees lived within the city limits of Philadelphia, and were classified as W-2
employees, never bothered to deduct, nor paid the 4.5% wage tax required by City law, until the U. S. Navy reported all non-Military employees living in the city limits. Rather than do the right thing, the contract owner never bothered to remit the back taxes to the city before his employees were reported as Philadelphia
residents.
Fast forward 35 years, and, since I was on SSDI by that time. I am getting dunning notices from Philadelphia Tax Bureau for unpaid taxes. Yes, I did speak to my personal attorney, unfortunately, he is not admitted to the Philadelphia Bar. (As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is now retired. His advice was to contact the Philadelphia Bar for advice. I did find a law firm in the nearby Brandywine Valley, but when I contacted them regarding my case, they literally laughed in my face, stating it’s too little money to be worth their time. Former Gov. Tom Wolf and U.S. Senator John Fetterman (who was Lt. Gov. under Wolf, and nearly destroyed the city of Braddock, PA in the late 1970’s) are absolutely no help. As for the owner of the contract with NRaD RDT&E, I wouldn’t be surprised if he hightailed it back to Hong Kong.
And people wonder why I’m a nervous wreck…
