Societal issues like violence towards women is too complex of a topic to resolve with one thing. Yes, we need more education and more mental health supports in schools but also to change our beliefs surrounding sexuality and gender. I think they are changing, but it’s just going to take time. Awareness is important, and there continues to be more and more of it. In the coming years, I do expect to see improvement although, since times of stress tend to make that stuff worse, I expect improvements to be gradual and up and down.

Informed doctors and mental health professionals are important as well as improving the process of reporting abuse and subsequent trials.

Is it just me, or do you get the feeling lots of men think women are frigid/sexless?

Yeah and I am reminded time and again not to talk about females as I am "uninformed". So I stick to discussion about males because I am male and that's what I am permitted to speak about on WP. You cant have it both ways.

You can speak about women.
Where did you get the idea you can't?

The only discussion I recall on this topic was about mansplaining, generalizing, or double standards.

I prefer not to as I have not experienced living in a woman's shoes. Hence why my focus is on males, Not because (as claimed) I don't care about female issues, its because I am not qualified. I leave it to females talk about women
