Becoming an activist

Bob Barker, Betty White, and Doris Day are all animal activists, and Danny Glover is a human rights activist. Now, these people were not born knowing what animals and human rights are. How do you think these people learned and became interested in advocating the rights of beings? This is just a random question I've been pondering.

They heard the facts about issues and decided what they thought was right or wrong. They also decided to speak out against what they thought was wrong. I don't know why someone becomes interested in something, though.

I guess it depends on what kind of a person they are brought up to be.

The way I see it, it's not mankind's planet, we're supposed to share.
