I've been unemployed since the beginning of the year due to mental health issues and want to try getting a job again, I worry about being rejected due to poor social issues that I fear would affect me in an interview, and the fact that I'm terrible at remembering stuff on quizes which was a difficult issue for me during the last job I have. I mainly have a feeling I'd be rejected due to poor social and memory issues I have. I'm a HS dropout with no GED. I feel a warehouse job could fit me or stocking shelves, I'd also love to try something related to photography, or filming. Particularly for stuff like crime scenes for instance, and nature. Does anyone else have similar issues like mine when it comes to working?

Uhh sorry I don't have much advice, but well college is hard for me cause I have a learning disability with math, can't even pass college remedial math even with a tutor, but also being in a classroom triggers my PTSD which makes it even harder to pay attention. Cause I get worried a shooter will enter the classroom and shoot everyone, doesn't help if other classes change in the hall so there is noise outside and it kept triggering me.....so I could not keep going. Cause I kept getting freaked out by every sound that someone was going to shoot up the class..so obviously I could not pay attention to the lessons because I was just sitting there being paranoid someone woluld come in to start shooting.

So Yeah I did not do so well in college, never even got a degree....cause the learning disabilty and other stuff.

I hold similar paranoid beliefs regarding working. I also fear tring to drive out of fear of getting in a violent crash.

I want to say a very warm congratulations on your desire to go back! That's wonderful! I worry about being rejected too. Especially in new situations. I recently lost my job two months ago (my own fault) and have been unemployed since then. Due to fear of issues of social rejection and issues like severe anxiety I ended up declining a job offer for a temporary job I was offered. I now regret it and am thinking about seeing if I can get the offer again. My Dad told me that sometimes you have to "push" through your fears and I think he's right (though I know this is easier said than done!). I wish you all the absolute best in finding something you are happy in and know you will eventually find it!

Warehouse jobs are easy to find. Amazon is building warehouses all over the place.
Photography jobs are much harder as their are a lot of folks that want those jobs.
Filming jobs are really hard to get.

I applaud you for wanting to give it another go! I’ve struggled a lot with finding and keeping jobs because of social anxiety, memory problems, prioritising tasks, making judgement calls etc.
I had a lot more success when I treated the issue as anxiety, not as my autism being the problem. I practiced my anxiety management strategies ( I keep a list of my strategies in my pocket) intensively and prepared myself by assuming that I WILL experience the anxiety rather than hoping that I don’t.
When it comes to the other issues, I made the decision to disclose my autism and to clearly communicate my deficits in advance during the interview (I wrote this down and gave it to the second-round interviewer, also adding the strengths of my autism).
The first job looked it over and told me that they couldn’t accomodate me, I said ok thanks anyway, the second job said that they could accomodate my differences and together we worked out ways around my issues (such as receiving feedback over email instead of on the phone).
More importantly, having them know my struggles in advance took off so much pressure for me day-to-day. I was able to speak up when I couldn’t keep up with my peers, without having to explain every time.

I’m not sure if being that open is an option for you, but if it is then you might be surprised at how compassionate some workplaces can be.
Hoping this helps.
