As an aside, who else thinks Rachel and Joey should have ended up together?

Absolutely no one. Diametric opposites (other than both being cute).

Are you telling me I won't be compelled to get the Jennifer Aniston hair cut? (I would look TRUELY hideous)

Well I mean give Aniston some credit, she inspired a whole generation of Karens with her hair in the 2020s.

Ross was an ahole who treated her like crap.
I guess there's no accounting for taste.

None of the three were her type, she's super cute, she'd go well with a young Keanu Reeves or Brad Pitt

I strongly disagree and take issue with the notion that "boomers" are anything. It's ageist, first of all. And it's a very multifaceted demographic with lots of different points of view.

My mom is in her early 70s, but I don't think of her as a boomer. She's possibly the most accepting person I know. She accepted ME, for one thing. But my mother is one of those rare people. But I do think she's in denial about the climate crisis.
What makes you think her being accepting is different from millions of others in her generation? There's no truth to "boomer" stereotypes.

LOL
Exactly, truly hideous.
Sorry all the people named Karen I know in real life. You are not hideous. Nor are you a "Karen," even though your birth certificate says otherwise.

Exactly. There is no truth to any stereotype. Humans see patterns and attempt to categorize those patterns into groups. But they are worthless defining All, Most, Many, or Some. Whether it is ethnicity, race, zodiac sign, or the year one was born, gross categorization demeans the individual. Just my opinion/soap box.
Soapbox is out of date. They use to be made from wood and provide support. I'm pretty sure most are made from cardboard, so provide little support. So maybe, Soapbox is not out of date?

How about that Gunther? He was in 164 episodes, second only to the main cast members. I have not idea who he is. What's his story? Was he offensive? :)

I think when the news show people of a certain age group from a certain profession, sometimes someone with certain political leanings, a certain frame of mind gets lumped into a much broader category.

It's convenient and expedient to "lump". Nowadays the news tend to reflect younger generations prevailing views echoing on social media so they stay relevant. Except of course Murdoch owned media outlets which still tow prehistoric values.
