They're really milking the proverbial goat for all it's worth, aren't they?

I'm sure it will be a bomb. The CGI Lion King movie wasn't worth watching, and modern Disney hasn't learned anything.

I wish they'd stop making villains sympathetic with tragic backstories.

Can we go back to having irredeemable villains who just love being evil?

IMO, especially with the new Snow White due next year, Disney really needs to stop relying on remakes of its own stuff, reboots and franchise films to continue to be taken seriously.
