Kanye West claimed he’s autistic in a new text to Elon Musk.

The Yeezy fashion designer requested his friend Ian Connor share screenshots on Instagram of his purported messages to the Tesla co-founder, in which he also declared he is not bipolar.

“When are we going to speak You owe me nothing,” the texts, posted early Wednesday, began.

“You never have to speak to me again But if we do speak The nature of the relationship has to change I’m not bipolar I have signs of autism from my [2002] car accident,” he said, referring to his famous crash that led to his hit song “Through the Wire” in which he rapped with his jaw wired shut.

West, 46, first revealed he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2018 but years later claimed during a Twitter tirade that he was “mentally misdiagnosed.”

Gossip is that autism caused his car crash. :nerdy:

Reminds me when I once had a "friend" that thought him being hit by a car made him autistic and that brain damage caused autism.

He wasn't even diagnosed but decided he had it too and being hit by a car caused it. Then he tried to deny he never said he was hit by a car. Talk about gas lighting.

I suppose there might be a little less stigma towards autism than bipolar.
