2024 Nothing to watch
I couldn't find much either, but I think it was because I was sub-clinically depressed with loneliness and fatigue, which jaundiced my attitude to entertainment generally. Eventually I perked up and was surprised how much better some movies and shows suddenly became.
With me there's a big social element to watching movies and TV shows. If I can watch it with somebody who enjoys it, or even discuss it later having watched it alone, I find it a more worthwhile experience. But watching TV alone, that sucks and blows at the same time. I keep feeling sorry for myself for being reduced to such a thing, but it doesn't stop me doing it. I guess it forces me to rest, to some extent, but I'd rather be active and creative.
2024 has really sucked for Netflix or other streaming platform content
I'm annoying my wife watching re-runs of Star wars, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
That's why I switched to physical media streamed to my Roku via Jellyfin. Well, that and the fact that the media doesn't ever disappear and it doesn't ever change unexpectedly.
Plus, since it's my stuff, my hardware and free software, there's no reason for the developers to trap me in, they can provide tools to find the stuff I want quickly and get onto watching. Including just flat out random order when I know I want to watch something, but don't really care what I'm going to watch.
Also, you might consider switching over to Max, it's got a pretty significant catalog.
