Especially if either Trump or Harris wins the 2024.

In my 67 years on this dung heap known as earth, I can only think of one former president who was true to his word, and the word of God. We need more leader like him, even if he accomplished what the Good Lord wanted done After he left offíce. The current candidate can’t even touch his accomplishments post Presidental service. God Speed, Jimmy Carter…

Idk I think if Harris wins we can still have hope, if Trump wins idk me and my boyfriend have been talking about if we have what it takes to be part of the resistance if trump wins. So its like either harris and keeping a fairly normal life or Trump wins and well me and my boyfriend aren't facists so the only option then would be to become part of a resistance.

Oof I probably should not say that in case trump does win, but well if he does my anti-authoritarian views will still come out some way anyways. But good god, I just hope Kamala gets it.

Does anyone really think Trump isn't narcissistic enough to want to be the guy who goes down in history as "the man who pushed the button" ?

I think Carter did OK after office, but in office he lost a lot of support for how he handled the Iran hostage crisis. In retrospect, we may have been better off invading Iran and toppling the regime, it has just metastasized into a nuclear cancer since and may yet become the flare point of WW3. Reagan did not do much better bribing Iran with military weapons ("arms for hostages") but it played better with the public.

Well I'd kind of hope by now the secret service removed the important button and just put a big fisher price button for Trump to pretend to push that does nothing. Like I feel like those guys probably have to be babysitters for big diaper trump. As you can tell I don't want a toddler like trump in the white house, that being said an actual toddler would probably make a better president than trump

Thank you Sweetleaf.
The idea of a Fisher-Price nuclear football is both charming and exactly what I needed to hear.
