I particularly enjoy fantasy like Lovecraft, Berserk, and Dunsany. Recommend me some obscure unkown fantasy stories because I'm starting my own library and want more books to read. Reading to me calms the soul which is something I need to do more.

Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy might not fit exactly in the categories you're looking for, but it is a horror story disguised as a western, just the same. One of my very favorite books, in fact.

Dune series by Frank Herbert. If you looks for books with very complicated and dense storyline, those books will be for you.

Ah that is right down my alley. Only mystery author is Berserk. Per Wikipedia: "a Japanese manga series by Kentaro Miura."

I recommend without reservation two books that will rock your world. Zanoni, by Edward Bulwer-Lytton, & Alhazred, by Donald Tyson. With Bulwer-Lytton, you are better off simply buying the four-book anthology of all of his weird fiction. He wrote many weird novels & stories. All are good, some more than others.

Donald Tyson has a lot of titles that I like, I am a collector of his work. He is not the strongest writer of fiction, but his non-fiction is rather useful. I collect and read both his fiction and non-fiction. He is a Lovecraft scholar.

Dunsany is very good of course. I have a big anthology of his stories.
