Hello,

I was wondering if anyone on here knew anything about the khalistan movement? I have been hearing a lot about it on the news from both mainstream and alternative sources and I don't know what to think or believe. I have a feeling that the media is trying to make white people in Canada afraid of the Punjabis. I think that the powers that should not be, benefit too much from further dividing the people into smaller and smaller groups that hate each other. I don't think that Indian Sikhs present a threat to white Canadians, they are too busy fighting with the Hindus for that to happen. That being said I do not condone violence being played out in our streets, if the Indian people want to have a war they can take it back to their own country.

Anyway that's my two cents, what are your thoughts on the matter?

I agree that a lot of the coverage seems intended to spread fear among non-Indo-Canadians.

I'm not sure why other Canadians would care if Indo-Canadians support Khalistan or not. Would Canadians living in India be deeply invested in whether or not other Canadian-Indians support Quebec sovereignty or not? Likewise, would Indians feel threatened by Canadian-Indians who support Quebec sovereignty?
