I would like to know one thing - do you guys do "reset cleaning" or do cleaning every day?
I was always taught that apartment must be so clean like I am waiting for unexpected guests. Strangely, I just stayed in this way of cleaning, but both of my siblings didn't.
I moved out from my parents four years ago, and even though apart from my family, I don't have many visitors, but my apartment is always nice and tidy.
I don't enjoy cleaning that much, it is more like I love when my things are in their place, so maintaing order is way easier this way. So cleaning is just byproduct of keeping my apartment always tidy and organised.
I can't stand to see my clothes laying around or having a sink full of dirty dishes. It is like a compulsion to put my things away where they belong.
So my question is - Is it weird?
I am the same, I certainly do not leave clothes lying on the floor. I do leave my sink full of dirty dishes, but only to conserve electricity, because I only want to run the dishwasher twice a week, not every day.
I keep my house in moderate order, enough to find things, and avoid clutter. I do NOT clean every day, but I do clean every week. I don't mop the floor but once a quarter. The main thing I do is pick up these furballs that cluster around the house from my two cats.
