Like what does that mean, like idk I had no choice in what genitals I was given at birth I am sorry some men are lonely but this has gotten out of hand. Like almost like a woman just existing is a crime or something. Like what the f**k I exist and I am a person but also I imagine it can be much harder for trans women or trans men that can still get pregnant and give birth.

That said i think the anti abortion stuff is more about sexism than anything else, like why is it emasculating if a trans man gives birth to a child. Like seems like a weird hold back to the idea of men should not care for children, but men for sure should be involved with their children. And now in my country in 2024 was supposed to be the future, half the states decide they simply wont help women or trans men when having complications to remove dead tissue to let them live instead of bleeding out. Women and children face the blunt of this but also any woman or trans man who can get pregnant is at risk. like for sure due to current abortion policies women are doomed to bleed to death, but yeah probably same deal with a trans man giving birth. Basically it is super messed up as we have the procedures and medical treatment to prevent people dying like that, yet in places like texes they aren't allowed to save a patients life if they are pregnant.

It is bad for men, women and everything in between. LIke the last abortion ban related death I heard of, the small child of the mom of two who died due to not getting miscarrige care on time has seen women with hair like his moms hair and runs after them yelling to his dad 'thats mom' and of course the devastated dad who lost his life partner has to reign his kid in to stop chasing after random women he thinks could be his mom. LIke idk just typing that out makes me cry a little bit cause it's so messed up and that poor little boy calling out for his mom cause he cant understand that she is gone for good. But that is the reality of abortion bans right wingers don't want people to see.

The right believes that if we all acted the way people did in the 1950s and early 60s, and practiced the same social norms they did then, then all our problems would go away.

Except this vision was a fantasy.

1. Most families were *not* like those on the classic sitcoms of the time. The Cleavers, Ricardos, et al, were fictional.

2. All the society ills we have now existed then.

3. The 50s were, in fact, a time of great change. The Civil Rights Movement was in full swing. The Beat Generation, and people like Allan Ginsburg, pushed the envelope.

Trump is intentionally ambiguous.

Ambiguity abdicates accountability.

I feel he has given the greenlight to others to act misogynistic

Of course he has, just as he had given a greenlight for racists and Anti-Semites during his first term. His voters know he represents the worst aspects of themselves.
