Which do you prefer, sitting, standing or lying down?

Plenty of coworkers complain about being tired, but almost never does anyone except myself lie down in the break room. Almost all coworkers always sit down and the only thing moving is their mouths

If I sit or stand for too long my feet hurt.
If I sit or lie for too long my back hurts.
I need to rotate between all 3, so I'm not going to choose just one.

That's mostly because social convention isn't to lie down at work. At least not around here.

That being said, you get most of the benefits of lying down just by getting your feet up and off the floor for a few minutes while on break. It helps the blood redistribute itself to the soles.

That is what NTs love to do most in the world, flap their gums with one another.

I prefer lying down and napping. It is my favorite activity. However, I doubt that would sound good on a dating profile. You generally have to advertise strenuous activities such as snorkeling in the Bahamas.

My feet hurt a lot sometimes & that's more likely when standing. Being more active & moving my feet & legs more would probably help a lot & so would finding better treatment for the skin problems my feet have.
There's nothing for me to do in bed except sleep so I have no reason to be in bed unless I'm trying to sleep, am sick, in lots of pain, or just wanting the cuddle with my girlfriend who's in bed. I sleep in weird positions & it's not uncommon for me to wake with a sore back. I sometimes sleep on the sofa & very surprisingly that does not hurt my back. Our sofa is only about long enough for two people to sit. When I sleep on the sofa I'm kinda curled up & my legs are hanging over the armrest & one is pointing up in the air. Usually my only pain is that the arm I'm laying on falls asleep so I wake up just enough to move over to the other side so I can lay on the other arm. It's like my body is part cat when I sleep.
Sitting is usually my favorite option though it's unhealthy. For some reason I often chose to stand when waiting for buses instead of sitting down at the bus stop/station seats so that's a plus.

I have a form of arthritis that makes it painful for me to be on my feet for too long. Sitting is the most comfortable position for me, it takes all pressure off. Laying down does as well but is less comfortable for me to be in for too long outside of sleeping.
