What kind of things surprised you lately?

I realized early this afternoon that we had no plans for a Christmas Dinner.

The task became mine.

Due to a lot of things that I don't want to get into, there is a split in the family about one family member. His sisters are both against him but neither will be at the Christmas Dinner and so I thought that it would be okay for him and his new wife to come eat with us.

So that was a big mistake and now our Christmas Dinner has suddenly blew up in my face.

What a surprise that was!

What's that saying? Being punished for doing something nice?

today i got an awesome surprise.

@ the library, saw a friend that i haven't seen since 2012.

i've gone to that library, for a couple years, a couple times a week, for a couple hours. never seen him there.

for over four years, i've been working in the city that he lives in. never saw him there.

Chest pains. Wondering whether the old ticker is up for another year.

I asked my brother to pick up a guitar amp from a pawn shop for me, I said I'd reimburse him.

He gave me the amp and refused to accept money for it.

It's a Festivus miracle.

Nice one.
I could do with another. I pull my Fender down and cajole it into working, but only until I reassemble it.
Most annoying.

It's a DOD Grind-It, I plan on modifying it so I can use it as a preamp.
