Not sure what a one of them means but thanks. :)

(I don't dress as an elf but I did help Father Christmas at a grotto once for a charity for a few weekends when my Mum worked for the charity so I couldn't back out of it. Father Christmas was this retired chap who was soo funny! When it was quiet in the garden center, he would stand still like a statue and when people came up thinking he was pretend, he would suddenly grab them and make them jump! The highligh of he volunteering was when he nipped out and I saw two rather concerned children run up to their parents in the garden center and say "Mum!...Dad! ... We saw Faher Christmas smoking a cigar in the car park!" Oops!

Can we use this thread to air our grievances?

Felix Saturnalia Planeta falsa.

Why is it so hard to choose the right adjective for wrong in Latin?
I mean, English has a stupid amount of meanings for wrong, Latin has more.
I was tempted to use pravus, but that's more my personal slant.

Anyway... I wanted to point out a northern hemisphere Christmas advantage.
Up there you don't have to keep chocolate in the fridge, and there is less risk of breaking your teeth on a family block of Toblerone.

Enjoy one for me!
