I just watched "Quelques messieurs trop tranquilles", the English title being "Some Too Quiet Gentlemen."

A cute movie, with hippies interacting with conservative folks in a rural area where the population is declining. Plus, a bit of a murder mystery. For the gents, some lovely T&A. Maybe not the best of French cinema, but not the worst, either. I'll recommend it as a curiosity piece.

I guess it doesn't get more stereotypically French than this. A frigid housewife (Catherine Deneuve) takes up a part-time job as an afternoon prostitute.
