My headphones don't work too good, I can hear only out of one speaker, the wire came out of it too. Is there a better noise canceling headphones?

Are you listening to anything or just want the noise quieted down? I have used several types ranging from ear buds to fully over ear headphones. Over ear headphones are the most unsightly looking in public, but by far the best at the job of protecting our hearing and blocking excessive noise. Today I have Beats Studio and Sony headphones, both over ear. The Beats are a little snugger and sound great, but their construction isn't as good as their competitors and mine started having issues around a year after purchase. This seems to be common with their headphones. The Sony headphones cost more but so far have been worth it. They are not as snug on the head but that doesn't seem to affect the noise reduction. I'm not a fan of their controls as they can be touchy but everything else has been awesome. Bose also makes some amazing headphones, comparable to Sony in regards to quality and sound.

As far as noise reduction all seem similar in their performance, the differences really seem to stem from auditory output from each. Depending on what you enjoy listening to can influence which choice you make. I suggest going to store where you can test listen to a favorite song on the different headphones to see which one gives you the best listening experience. My buddy loves Bose headphones, his child loves her Beats, while I love my Sony headphones.

The Sony and Bose headphones are the most expensive at around $250-$350 while the Beats can be found for around $200. There are several cheaper options out there, many doing a comparable job. The Bluetooth connected ones are usually more $$$ than their wired counterparts but tend to last longer. I kept getting wires caught on things and breaking so I personally prefer Bluetooth myself.
