I'm new here, a autistic father to a autistic son. My DX came a year after his. So much explained about my younger life..

Welcome! My dx came very similar. I finally realized I'm not broken and neither is my kiddo. PM if you'd like to chat. My asd kids are 27, 21 & undiagnosed but definitely neuro divergent 11yo.

Parents have dyslexia, speech impediment, but functional. Maybe autism? Maybe mosaic Down syndrome. No one bothers to get tested. Argh so dodgy.

Dang, this thread empty.

AuDHD parent. My two year old's pediatrician is reasonably sure that she isn't autistic. Remains to be seen. She is showing some signs of possible ADHD...but she's two, so that may just be her age (she's a very bright but very intense child).

My biggest struggle as a neurodivergent parent is that my cup stays empty, but I have to keep pouring. She worth it, of course, but I wish I had more of me to give her.
