I found some apartments, how do you know if something is a scam?

Use a reputable website such as rightmove.

Why are some apartments that I wanted are around $2,000? My dad told me if he gets money soon, he will help me with money for me & him, I REALLY HOPE he get money this time, he lost his money, he been working tooooo hard for around 15 years, if he gets money, he can slow down sine he won't retire. He wasn't around too much when I was growing up, my mom was like a singe parent, she took care of me more.

Anyway, I found this apartment that is $1,250
